MPF’s 2025 Scheme of the Year announced as limelight shines on Sustainability
The full winners’ list of the 2025 edition of “The MPF Awards” has now been uploaded.
Key points are as follows:
- The MPF industry’s 2025 edition of “The MPF Awards” is supported by major industry associations and hosted by MPF Ratings.
- HSBC MPF – SuperTrust Plus named “MPF Scheme of the Year” for a 3rd consecutive year.
- Coinciding with the MPFA’s new Sustainable Investing obligations highlighted at this week’s MPF “Sustainability for MPF” Symposium, MPF Ratings highlights its list of Sustainably Friendly MPF Schemes, headed by Sun Life Rainbow MPF Scheme which won “Best MPF ESG product” for its MPF Global Low Carbon Index Fund.
- The evening also saw Manulife and HSBC respectively take out the coveted “People’s Choice” and “Employers’ Choice” awards.
- MPF total asset size as at 31st January is approximately $1.316tr, representing an average account balance of $276,900 per 4.75m members.
HSBC MPF – SuperTrust Plus was named MPF’s Scheme of the Year for a 3rd consecutive year at the 2025 edition of The MPF Awards. Now in its 13th year, MPF industry’s The MPF Awards is supported by major industry associations and hosted by MPF Ratings, MPF’s independent provider of MPF research, views and education.
In announcing this year’s MPF award winners, MPF Ratings’ Chairman, Mr Francis Chung (叢川普), noted that while the evening’s highly sought after accolades are the “MPF Scheme of the Year”, and the two publicly voted awards, the “Employers’ Choice” and “People’s Choice, this year’s event was also notable for its support of the MPFA’s “Sustainability for MPF” commitment, with the unveiling of a list of Sustainably Friendly MPF Schemes, headed by Sun Life Rainbow MPF Scheme for its MPF Global Low Carbon Index Fund.
